Traffic Alert for Participants, Spectators & Volunteers using I-44 WEST OR I-270 NORTH
to drive to this weekend’s events:
Please plan your drive accordingly. These detours are not short – we anticipate they may add an extra 15+ minutes onto your drive.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all westbound lanes on I-44 between Exit 276 (I-270) and the Meramec River to make repairs, as well as the ramp from northbound I-270 to WB I-44 starting Friday, October 17 at 10 p.m. The ramp from southbound I-270 to westbound I-44 and the ramp from westbound Route 366 to northbound I-270 will remain open, but there will be no access to westbound I-44 from westbound Route 366.
If traveling to Eureka on westbound I-44 or from the westbound Route 66 ramp, the detour is to continue northbound on I-270, exit at Dougherty Ferry (Exit 8), cross over the interstate ramp and head southbound on I-270 to the ramp for westbound I-44.If traveling to Eureka northbound on I-270, use westbound Route 30 to northbound Route 141 and get back onto westbound I-44.
Saturday Race Day Parking
Saturday Race Day Parking will be available at: Eureka Soccer Park (102 Williams Rd, Byrnes Mill, MO 63025) , Sotebier Park (187 Williams Rd, Eureka, MO 63025), S. Outer Road (accessed directly off of EB I-44 / Williams Rd exit) – on the side of the road.
From I-44 Westbound:
Exit at Eureka (exit 264) to Hwy 109
Left on Hwy 109
Left on Augustine Road
Left around bend to continue on Augustine Road
Left onto Williams Road (at horse farm on your left)
Continue until you see Race Parking signs at Eureka Soccer Park or in grass at Soetebier Park.
From I-44 Eastbound:
Exit at Eureka (exit 264) to Hwy 109
Right on Hwy 109
Left on Augustine Road
Left around bend to continue on Augustine Road
Left onto Williams Road (at horse farm on your left)
Continue until you see Race Parking signs at Eureka Soccer Park or in grass at Soetebier Park.
Sunday Participant Parking
Parking Locations to Walk to the Start for Sunday Runners:
Eureka Soccer Park (102 Williams Rd, Byrnes Mill, MO 63025)
Sotebier Park (187 Williams Rd, Eureka, MO 63025) – this location may be closed if flooded
S. Outer Road (accessed directly off of EB I-44 / Williams Rd exit) – on the side of the road
** We anticipate these lots filling early and that many runners will have to use the shuttle service lots below.

Parking Locations with Shuttle Service for Sunday Runners:
Due to the anticipated rain expected on Saturday 10/18 (and potential flooding of one of our parking locations), we have added alternate parking locations for Sunday’s race.
Shuttle service will be provided to the race and returning to the lots after the race and will run beginning at 6:00am. Last pre-race shuttle 6:45am. Return shuttle service will continue through 10:30am.
Alternate Parking Locations:
- City Hall – 100 S. Central Drive, Eureka, MO 63025 (100 spots)
- Central Ave Spurs Lot – Just off 109/Central Ave intersection to the south (130 spots)
Shuttle Pickup / Return Location:
- Intersection of 109 and Central Ave.
Please allow ample time, shuttles are limited and were a last minute addition due to wet field/parking issues.
From I-44 Westbound:
BEFORE 6:40am
Exit at Eureka (exit 264) to Hwy 109
Left on Hwy 109
Left on Augustine Road
Left around bend to continue on Augustine Road
Left onto Williams Road (at horse farm on your left)
Continue until you see Race Parking signs at Eureka Soccer Park or in grass at Soetebier Park.
AFTER 6:40am
Exit at Eureka (exit 264) to Hwy 109
Follow signage to turn left onto 109, then immediate left back onto I-44 EB.
Exit at the very next exit, Williams Road.
Follow staff directions to parking locations on Williams/S. Outer Road.
From I-44 Eastbound:
To avoid congestion, do not exit at Eureka/109 exit.
Use Williams Road (one further east) Exit.
At Williams Rd, use either parking lots to the south, or street parking to the north.
