Here’s a great healthy banana bread recipe that we love and wanted to share with you. It’s perfect for a breakfast treat or an afternoon snack

¾ cup of whole wheat flour
¾ cup of cake flour
2 tsp of baking powder
2 tsp of baking soda
½ salt
2 eggs
¼ cup hot water
1/3 cup of grape seed oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup of honey
¼ chopped walnuts
3 ripe smashed bananas
Spray or grease a 8 ½ x 4 ½ loaf pan
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
Mix all of your dry ingredients (flour, baking soda and powder, cinnamon, salt) in one bowl
Mix all of your wet ingredients (eggs, oil, water, honey, eggs, vanilla extract) in another bowl
Pour your wet ingredients into the dry ingredients bowl and mix well
Once combined add in the smashed bananas and the walnuts
Stir everything, eliminating any large chunks
Pour batter into pan and bake for 90 minutes
After 90 minutes use a tooth pick or knife to check center of bread, if it comes back dry, your bread is ready. If the center is still wet, cook for an additional 5-10 minutes.
Cool before slicing.
