ST. LOUIS, (MO) – October 12, 2014. Eric Fernandez, Northern Arizona Elite, won the 6th Annual Great GO! St. Louis Halloween 10K with a time of 29:41. Finishing second was Big River Running’s Matt O’Connor, who posted a 30:41. In third place was Kwin Keuter, finishing with a time of 33:13.
On the women’s side, Margo Richardson won her first Halloween 10K title, finishing in 36:04. She was closely followed by former champion – Hilary Orf, who finished with a 36:21. Placing third was local elite Crystal Harriss, crossing the finish in 37:35.
In the Half Marathon, Mike Aitken crossed the line first with a time of 1:10:21. Finishing second was Charles Beiseman, and third place went to Jason Holroyd. For the women, Cheryl Held won the title with a time of 1:23:02, while Michelle Lapin and Kelly Stromsdorfer finished second and third.
Close to 5,000 participants registered for the festive and fun race, which included a half marathon, 10K, 5K and a 1-Mile Fun Run. In addition to prize money for the top finishers, age group winners received pumpkin pies.
