For 25 years, the mission of GO! St. Louis has been to inspire fitness, one step at a time. In those decades, we’ve watched the local running community change directions, grow in size, build new connections, add new events, sustain long-time ones, and most of all…run many, many miles together!
We are incredibly proud to host our city’s marathon, and to organize many other events and programs that connect thousands of people to our sport and to the goal of fitness for life. But none of it would be possible without the strength of the St. Louis running community.
And so, as we begin this season of celebration, there are no better people we can think of to celebrate with than all of you…

1904 Olympic Course Marker – We don’t think it was a 26.2 mile route, and there are legends of some runners hitching rides, but hey, it’s a part of our city’s running history, and we’re here for it!
Anheuser-Busch – An iconic local institution, and landmark. King of beers, a favorite post-run beverage of runners!
Ballpark Village – Home to the Greater St. Louis Marathon Expo for the first time ever! St. Louis ♥️’s Cardinals Baseball!!

Drury Hotels – Official Hotel Partner for the Greater St. Louis Marathon. Family-owned for over 50 years. They treat guests (and runners!) like family, too.
Eads Bridge – Standing strong at 150 years young, the Eads Bridge is not only the world’s first steel-truss bridge, and the very first train crossing over the Mississippi River, but it was built by a man who had never built a bridge before! We love taking runners over this historic St. Louis structure!
Eureka, home of the Great Halloween Race – Eureka is the most hospitable municipality we’ve ever worked with. We couldn’t be prouder to bring thousands of runners to their community each October.
Forest Park Forever – Are we the luckiest runners in the world to have this gem of a place to run? Home of many a GO! St. Louis start line, home to even more local runner miles than we could count. We’re superfans.
Fleet Feet St. Louis – Multiple locations to serve the community, and a whole lot of community they serve! Fleet Feet runners come en masse to our events each season, and we are grateful!

Did you know that standing in the middle of Lafayette Square is a statue that was the first public monument in the state of Missouri, sculpted by the first female professional sculptor, Harriet Hosmer?
Old Chain of Rocks Bridge, start line for the pandemic era marathon – It may not be a time we want to remember, but as one of the few mass participation events to be permitted in St. Louis in spring of 2021, we are proud of the work we did to make a safe, successful experience for our runners!
